Sold Out: 1956 to 1967. Mission Accomplished

Just about every one of us has changed beyond recognition of how we looked when we were young. Oh, we’re still young at heart but “Mother Nature", coupled with “The Storms of Life”, has given us all facelifts, and body transplants. Younger images of our friends past will be embedded in the albums of our minds forever, but now is the time to see the new, You and Me. As with the butterfly, metamorphosis has changed our physical features to a point where we could be easily missed in a crowd, much the same effect as wearing camouflage in the wilderness.

We have been chatting and exchanging pictures of the past on Facebook, all the while remembering friends as they were when we were younger. A lot of familiar faces have been rediscovered, and now it’s time to rediscover those faces once again, but through a different window, with a different view. The caterpillar, “Days of Our Lives” are gone forever, and it is now time to focus on the beauty of the creatures we have become. Each of us has taken on special characteristics and new identities, but we all still proudly wear the colors of Purple and Gold, on wings given us many years ago.
